My Background

I am an experienced laboratory analyst, specializing in the identification and analysis of mold and other environmental microorganisms. Before starting my career in Science, I spent nearly a decade in Air Force Intelligence, interpreting satellite imagery and geospatial data to discern information about objects on the ground. That work trained my eye to see patterns hidden in complexity—whether stretched across landscapes or clustered within the field of a microscope.

Today, the same skills guide my work at the microscopic scale. I translate what I once did from images covering vast stretches of terrain into understanding the quiet architecture of mold spores and hyphae across millimeter distances. The tools have changed, but the discipline is the same: every detail matters.

I hold a B.S. in Genetics and Cellular Biology from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville (2018) and completed the McCrone Research Institute’s Indoor Air Quality: Fungal Spore Identification course in 2025, taught by the respected Dr. Payam Fallah. With more than seven years of microbiology experience, my labspace is modeled on accredited standards—driven by traceability, calibrated quality control, and methodical record keeping. My aim is to turn careful observation into clarity for clients, transforming uncertainty into understanding through evidence and precision.

Let me help you make sense of what you’re seeing — no fear, no fluff, just honest answers.
